Personality; Some characters have a single key part of their character that makes up their entire image. One that you can immediately label them with and just roll with it all across the board when describing them. Unfortunately, Aoto isn't that kind of guy. Or at the very least you can't pull that off until you get to know him well. So let's cover a few of those words, shall we?
Aoto is up front and foremost, friendly. The kind of guy who will make friends ridiculously easy once he opens his mouth and chats up someone in a casual manner. He even gets called on this a few times, as he's just a Nice Guy. It helps, of course, that he has the whole heroic "throw myself into danger without hesitation" when he sees someone in trouble attitude to go with that open friendliness. Nothing like leaping to the rescue to break the ice, right? Even further than that, once he decides he wants to protect someone? He will god damn protect them. He will be UNSHAKABLE in this fact and as he himself says, he'd dive into hell itself to save someone if they went down that far. This applies to both protecting and supporting them. Earn his trust or loyalty and you'll have a guy who will take a bullet for you if it was necessary. On the other hand, some might just call him reckless... But he prefers thinking of himself as heroic.
Of course for all the courageous responsibility... Aoto can also be more than a bit of a jerk. Either with intent or just due to being blunt and honest, he is not at all above teasing, poking fun at, or prodding a person in their weak spot for massive damage to raise the annoyance meter. In fact his default mode when talking to people will often be placed in this area, as he finds a girls angry face to be adorable and amusing, and a guys exasperated one to be worthy of a cackle. Piled right along side said jerkiness, is the fact that... well, he's kind of a perv. Not in the sense that he'll go out of his way to see a girl naked if the chance presented itself-- rather than that, he finds girls he knows being in various states of undress pretty damn embarrassing-- but if he sees a cute or attractive girl, he will not shy away from commenting on their looks. Often as directly as possible. He's just real direct over all, honestly.
But speaking of embarrassing-- Aoto is also... well. He's kind of a tsundere. Not in the extreme over the top sense, mind you.That's Finnel. Aoto is just awkward as hell when it comes to liking a girl and will more often than not opt for glancing away and engaging the whole "PSSH NO WAY" reaction if someone were to call him on having interest in someone. Thankfully this only applies to liking someone like that, as he will quite bluntly acknowledge his fondness for people. It's just when it takes on a romantic turn that he'll turn into a dodgy doofus.
Aoto is also really damn forgiving. If someone once tried to kill him before? Well... If he can find a way for them to be on friendly terms instead of enemies until the end of time? He'll do his damnedest to go that route over eternal feuding. Even if you go after his friends, he'll be willing to make up with the offender if they show even the slightest signs of earnest regret, or had reasons he can comprehend for their actions. It's only truly evil people who show no remorse and are basically flat out monsters with no regard for the lives of others that he can't stand. Pretty standard fare for the protagonist of an RPG, right?
Which brings on the RPG aspects. Much to the surprise of those around him, Aoto is pretty much a genius when it comes to crafting, building, or creating damn near anything. He can come up with the most absurd idea for a item and defy every possible law of physics to make it work. Half of the things he makes he doesn't even understand how they operate, yet he can make them again and again. He is just that good with tools. Which leads to the final part of this Image of Aoto. His ego. When it comes to describing or introducing himself, unless it's a unusually serious situation... It will come in a grand, self-inflating manner. Dude thinks quite highly of himself! Enough that he'll call himself "Lord Aoto" or "The strongest man in the universe, Aoto"... things of such nature.
And that, boys and girls, is how you paint a picture and sign it with "Aoto" at the bottom.

Salutations, citizens of this fair colorless yet Holy city! Your new painter, the master artist Lord Aoto, has arrived! You may applaud now, should you so desire. I'll even pause so you can let it out loud enough that I can hear it across the network.
*Pause he does! In all likelihood you could hear a pin drop at the silence before he lets out a cough and continues.*
Anyway... I might have been in the middle of my own world saving adventure... But I suppose I can spare myself some time to save another. I mean, this place wouldn't have yanked me by seat of my pants if it didn't desperately need my many, many talents, right? Hm hm hm... Oh, you don't have to ask, fellow citizens! I can hear you already asking.
"Oh charming Lord Aoto, what amazing and wonderful talents could you possibly provide? Surely you can't be that talented."
My answer, of course, is yes I can be! I am a master of my craft, oh ye of little faith. Or many faiths. I'm not entirely up to date on the faiths here what with the whole patron deity thing... For all I know there might be a giant shrine with big gold statue if Thor around the corner. Only it would look like marble or something, what with the lack of color and all... ... man, that would feel like one hell of a punch in the gut. Having a huge gold statue erected of you only for it to suddenly turn shades of gray... Talk about a major buzz kill.
--ah! Right. This wasn't about the whole deity thing, this was about me! Though I won't mind if you want to consider me your patron deity. I'm sure I could arrange something for that. In any case, my talents are innumerable! There isn't a thing out there I can't build, craft, create, combine, mix, or any other synonym for those words. Which means... I'm not listing them! Ha! I bet I really had you going, huh? Hanging on the edge of my every word, waiting for the big reveal... Sorry to say, you'll just have to wait and see them in action, Asgard! Your time will come.
By the way, if any of you weeped or laughed at all during that, the city can put it on my tab for progress toward restoring the color until I can figure out the secret to making paint in a place void of it.
